2002 Seattle Marina Fire, Lake Union
Ballard Diving & Salvage Inc., was contracted to recover and properly dispose of 13 severely fire damaged yachts. This included the vessel of interest, which was carefully raised on a customframe to preserve any evidence. The boats were salvaged and disposed of in accordance with all regulatory agencies.
 
A Letter of Appreciation was presented to us from Captain Ellis of the Port, U.S. Coast Guard, Puget Sound for the successful salvage operations, safely completed, preventing further damage to salvageable vessels and minimizing pollution in the environmentally sensitive areas after the Seattle Marina Fire May 17, 2002.
